Tournament ResultsDate : May, June, July Tournament of Champions Qualifier Structure : $80 entry, No Rebuys 1st Place : Mike W #375 &(seat in finals), Phil G. $320 &(seat in finals), Chad N $320 &(seat in finals) The turnout for our TOC qualifier have not been very good which is good news for those that do show up and play. There will ALWAYS be a seat up for grabs regardless of how many show up to play. Bottom line... short turnout means a great chance to get your seat for the $1000 guarantee first place money in our finals

The action was slow at first with only a couple rebuys during the first couple rounds. However everyone chipped up at break and the "game was on" Congrats to the cashers
Date : April 23th Tournament of Champions Qualifier #4 Structure : $80 entry, No Rebuys Number of Players : 5 Total Prize Pool : $375 1st Place : Ken J (seat in finals) Again not a very good turnout but again the odds of wining a seat in the finals is perfect. There will be a seat giving out every month so get here while the turnout is small and pick up your seat
Date : March 26th Tournament of Champions Qualifier #3 Structure : $80 entry, No Rebuys Number of Players : 5 Total Prize Pool : $375 1st Place : Ben P (seat in finals) This was our third TOC and the turnout has not been very good yet. However, this makes nice odds for the players who do show up trying for the seat in the $1000 championship. This year you can't buy a seat into the finals so winning a seat is that much more important. Congrats to Ben for picking up the seat Date : Feb 26th Tournament of Champions Qualifier #2 Structure : $80 entry, No Rebuys Number of Players : 8 Total Prize Pool : $575 1st Place : Ross J (seat in finals) This was the second chance to get a seat in the TOC Championship 2010. The roads were bad again but the turnout was still pretty good. When it got down to the last 4 players a deal was made to chop the prize money and play 1 hand, 7 card showdown for the seat. Ross ended up winning this hand and has not picked up seat #2 for the $1000 guarantee finals in December. Date : Feb 12th 2010 Structure : $125 Entry, No Rebuys, $100 bounty on 1 player Number of Players : 7 Total Prize Pool : $815 1st Place : Clint W 2nd Place : Mona L (chopped the prize money) We have not tried this format before and it turned out to be a fun one. Benny ended up having the $100 bounty on his head and everyone was gunning for him! When it got down to 3 players they made a deal to let Benny keep the $100 and chop remaining $715. Date : Jan 29th Tournament of Champions Qualifier #1 Structure : $80 entry, No Rebuys Number of Players : 5 Total Prize Pool : $350 1st Place : Doughboy $350 (and seat in finals) This was the first chance to get a seat in the TOC Championship 2010. The odds were very good with only 5 players braving the cold to come out and play. Also with the new changes in the TOC Finals, getting a seat was even more important. It got down to Paul and Doughboy and went back and forth for a while. No deal was made and play kept up until Doughboy flopped a straight and slow played allowing Paul to push all in. Doughboy called and the straight held up beating Pauls 2 pair.
Date : Jan 8th 2010 Structure : $50 Entry, <3> $20 rebuy/addon Number of Players : 6 Total Prize Pool : $550 1st Place : Ben P $385 2nd Place : Justin E $165 We start off the new year with one of our best formats and the action is always good for this tournament. The action was slow at first with only a couple rebuys during the first couple rounds. However everyone chipped up at break and the "game was on" Quads hit 3 times during the game and that caused short stack Ben to become the chip leader in just a few hands. A lead he held on to clear to the end. Congrats to both players
Date : Dec 18th Tournament of Champions FINALS !! Structure : 12 monthly qualifiers Number of Players : 12 Total Prize Pool : $1200 1st Place : Rich H $1000 and trophy 2nd Place : Paul W $200 This was our TOC Championship !! all 12 monthly qualifiers showed up for the chance to be crowned Doughboy's TOC 2010 Champion. When it got down to 3 players a deal was made but then for some reason cancelled leaving bubble boy with only $100. Congratulation to Rich ! He was the chip leader at this time and ended up winning the tournament and grabbing the $1000 first prize and the trophy. Congrats goes out to all the 12 who won their seat into the finals.

The action was crazy right from the start with "rebuy rebuy rebuy" being said all during the first 3 rounds. Congrats to all the winners

With only 2 more chances to play for the $1000 first place $$ players showed up trying to catch the last couple seats. With 6 players left Mosley was down to 2 blinds when he went all in preflop 4 times picking up the blinds and anti's. He must have watched the final table of the 2009 WSOP lol. Ken was the first one to be knocked out. Ben had the chip lead when it got down to heads up but a couple beats and they were sitting even. At that time a deal was made to chop and get to the cash game. Congrats to winners Date : Sept. 25th Tournament of Champions Qualifier #9 Structure : $80 entry, No Rebuys Number of Players : 5 Total Prize Pool : $350 1st Place : Chris D. $350 (and seat in finals) Not a very good turnout but very good odd's for winning a seat in the finals !!!. After the first player got knocked (Doug R.) a deal was made to chop the money, play for the set and get the Cash game started.

Still not what we expect but the weather is still nice out. The players are realizing "now" is the time to come in due to the better odds of getting that "special seat" to the Championship in Dec and the chance at the $1,000 first prize. Congrats to Bob

The weather is still nice outside and Im sure when the colder months get here the numbers will increase. However "now" is the time to get in and play the tournament with the short number of players your odds are much better in winning a seat in the finals where someone WILL win $1000
Date : June 26th Tournament of Champions Qualifier #6 Structure : $80 entry, No Rebuys Number of Players : 3 Total Prize Pool : $150 1st Place : Doughboy $150 (and seat in finals) I guess we can blame Mother Nature for such a poor turnout but....there was still June's seat up for grabs. The 3 players that showed up liked it due to the odds being GREAT !! Ben, Phil, and Doughboy all agreed to put in $50 and play winner takes all. Phil jumped out to the early chip lead when his flush hit the turn for a $2,000+ pot from Doughboy. However Doughboy got his revenge when he flopped trips and slowed played Phil just a few hands later making Phil the short stack. 2 hands later again Doughboy and Phil butted heads when Phil pushed all in with Q-7 and got called by Doughboy's A-4. Then it was down to 2. Ben ended up all in on the 2 heads up hand. Doughboy raised preflop with A-8 suited, Ben smooth called with Q-Q. The flop was 8-2-7, Doughboy bet and Ben pushed all in, Doughboy called and a A came on the turn giving Doughboy the win and the 6th seat in the T.O.C. championship. The action was however with the chip lead changing hands several times during the night.
