Not a very good turn out but the players had a lot of fun. It was a $20 entry, $10 bounty on all player and only 5min rounds. One player would win $1000 and the trophy as T.O.C. Champion. However when it got down to the last 3 players they all made a deal to chop the prize money equally at $400 each and play one hand for the trophy. Karl won that hand and walked away with the trophy.

Not as many "crazy" all-in's as a $10 rebuy so the structure was good. The biggest "adventure" was the side bet Paul & Doughboy made on Ken making the final 3. Ken had his lucky rabbits foot with him as one time he was all in with 2-3 off suite against Phil's J-Q, The flop came J-3-7 and Ken hit a 2 on the river to double up !!! He did end up cashing and Doughboy lost the side bet. Just when a short stack was all in and on the verge of busting out they would double up. When is was all said and done Ken came out on top winning the seat in the finals. It turned out to be a lot of fun for all the teams. To sum the tournament up .... K-8 is NOT a beautiful thing. When it got down to heads up Ben had K-8 off suit and Doug was playing with 7-7. Ben limped in, Doug raised all in and Ben called. The flop came all rags but then the magic K came on the turn making Ben's K's win the pot and the tournament. It is a good thing cause after the tournament the bad beat was hit for $2400 . The tournament was crazy with Mosley saying his normal "Im going to <scoop> this without even re-buys" of course like normal he re-bought and still never cashed. Ken rode a roller coaster being chip leader to short stack to chip leader again. When it was all said and done he came out on top and is sitting on the back-2-back hill for an extra $225 if he wins the next tournament. Date : Dec 28 Structure : $150 TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS FINALS Number of Players : 21 Total Prize Pool : $2430 1st Place : Jeremy M $1540 and Trophy 2nd Place : Doughboy $525 3rd Place : Mike B $365 21 players showed up to take the title of TOC Champion. When it was all said and done, Mosley ended up with it all. The deciding hand was heads up with Doughboy. Mosley had apx $60,000 and Doughboy had apx $40,000. Doughboy looked down at A-8 off and Mosley had 10-5. No raise preflop. the flop was 9-J-Q. Mosley picked up open end straight and Doughboy had gut shot straight and Ace high. Doughboy bet out $10,000 and was called. The turn came 4 which didn't help the board, Doughboy bet another $20,000 and was again called. The river came a 5 giving Mosley a pair of 5's. He wins the hand and Doughboy is down to $10,000. Next hand Mosley pushes all in pre-flop, Doughboy had J-8 clubs and called. Nothing hits and Mosley picks up the win. Congrats to all the winners

There are only 3 left before the finals where one player will walk with at least $1000. When it got down to heads up between Bob and Doughboy, Bob had about a 3.5 / 1 chip lead. After both players going in preflop in the dark, Doughboy ended up with A-A and doubled up. The next hand he doubled up again and a few hands later and again both in the dark it was all over. Doughboy is now on the hill for the back-2-back bonus money. The bad beat of the night had to be when Phil had pocket Aces and got Aaron to go all in with pocket 6's. The thing that really made this a bad beat was Mike showed his cards and folded a <6>. Well Phil dealt his own future by turning up the last 6 in the deck on the river and putting himself out. also giving the bounty to Aaron. However due to the small turnout it was voted on to be change to a Holdem tourney. Had a couple new players show up and seemed to enjoy themselves. The highlight was when it got down to heads up between Jessie and Ben. Jessie had an 8-1 chip lead but a few draws and good play resulted in Ben coming out on top. Not the turnout I was expecting for this tournament but still a good tournament. When it was all said and done, we ended up with a new King of the Hill for the back-2-back jackpot. With 24 showing up including some first time players. A deal was offered with 4 players left. At that time Keith had a 2-1 chip lead over everyone. He declined the deal and 3 hands later he was busted out 4th. A 'wild' deal was then made between the top 3 with the chip leader at that time (Rich) getting $220 and Shawn & Doughboy getting $190. Also Doughboy would get the Back-2-Back win and the $25bounty would be played for. Shawn ended up getting the bounty and Shawn was declared the tournament winner. Date : Feb 24th Structure : Tournament of Champions Qualifier #2 Number of Players : 14 Total Prize Pool : $1000 1st Place : Doughboy $500 2nd Place : Jessie F. $300 3rd Place : Ben P. $200 This was our second TOC of the year. 14 players showed up to grab a spot in the Championship Finals in December. Pocket A's seemed to be the giant killer of the night. Dal got busted out of the tournament with A-K suited when he pushed all in and ran up against Doughboy's AA. Then Dave pushed all in with his 10-10 and ran across Jessie's AA. When it got down to the last 2 players, a deal was made with each player holding $30,000 in chips, they split the prize money $400 each and played out for the seat.
