Chris Dillon, owner of Doughboy's Poker Room has played poker for many years. He also travels to Vegas, Atlantic City and all over to play in various cash games and tournaments. With the help of friends in the county prosecutors office he worked directly with the State's Attorneys General office for several months to iron out details. The states position is simple.....

"any house/building used to profit off a game of chance (which poker is called by the states definition) is illegal"

So, the question that the state of Ohio kept asking Mr. Dillon was

"why would I put several thousand dollars into a business/club that was unable to make any money?"

My answer to them was simple.....

" I play poker all over and have to travel every weekend to play"

To get good at anything you have to practice and that is the same with poker. By me opening up a Upscale poker room it allows me to practice every week without having to leave the city. It also gives other poker players a safe place to play as well.

Mr. Dillon is also a member of the 'Tournament Directors Association' and the 'Poker Players Alliance' as well.
