On Tuesday 7/22/08 the newest Bad Beat Jackpot got hit. The game was Omaha Hi/Lo split. This night had already seen a lot of BIG hands. There were 6 Quads, 1 straight flush and 1 royal flush during the 6 hour session. The Bad Beat hand came at 11:15pm. Keith had been dealt 9-9-?-? and Doughboy was dealt 2-2-?-?. The flop came 9-9-2, Keith was first to act and after flopping quad 9's he bet out $2 (the blinds were $1-$2). He was called by Chad, Phil, Ken, Rich and Doughboy raised it to $4 ! This was of course called by all players also. The turn card was a 2 now giving Doughboy quad 2's. Keith bet $4 this time and was called by Chad, Phil. Doughboy raised to $8 and was called by Keith and Chad. The river was a 3. Keith bet $31, Doughboy asked Keith how much he had left and he replied "$55". Doughboy raised all in ($500+) and Keith quickly called stating that he had the "Nuts" Doughboy turned over quad 2's and Keith did indeed have the Nuts with quad 9's. This time he decided to just check. The river brought another A making a board of 7h-A-A-5h-A. Ken bet out 20 and was raised all in quickly by Mike. Doughboy folded and Ken made the call. Mike turned over his Ace's full of K's. Ken turned over his 8 first which was bigger then any card on the board making him quad Ace's with 8 kicker. Ken won the pot and Mike won the bad beat. ** BAD BEAT JACKPOT GETS HIT **

$1877.00

On Friday July 6th at 11:15pm the bad beat jackpot gets hit again for just under $2,000.  There were only 6 players and the tournament for that night was still going. The pot was limped to Chris who looked down at A-A. He limped and Ken on the small blind looked down at 5-5. Ken raised it to $16. Everyone folded around to Chris on the button and he just called. The flop came A-10-5 with 2 clubs. Ken started talking and the "act" just started. He flopped trips and was trying to figure out how to play Chris and get all his money. Unknown to Ken was that Chris also flopped trips A-A-A. Ken bet out I believe $18, Chris then started his "act" and just called. Both were trying to play the other one !!  The board had 2 clubs on the flop and the turn was 10 of clubs. Ken still had trip 5's but Chris has now boated with Ace's full. Ken was still playing his "slow play" act and the chat began between the two of them, Chris told Ken to bet $7 and he would probably fold !  Well after thinking and talking... ken bet out $8.  Chris then continued his "act" and just called the bet. Then on the river was the 5 giving Ken quad 5's.  The chatter again started between the two of them and ken with about $100 left in front of him bet out $26. Chris thought for a little bit and raised to $52 trying to get all he can out of the pot. Ken then raised all in and Chris quickly called. When Ken turned over the quad 5's, Chris bitched and turned over his full house. Neither player even thought about the bad-beat but simply just about "slow playing" the other !!  Dave G. was the first to yell out "BAD BEAT" and then it set in !  Doughboy losing the hand picked up $938, Ken winning the hand picked up $469 plus $288 in the actual pot, the rest of the players Dave G., Jeff R, Doug R, Shawn A, each picked up $117
